Suva City Skyline

Suva City

Suva City is the capital of Fiji and situated on the south east coastline of Fiji's main island, Viti Levu (or "Big Fiji"). It is a picturesque city built on a promontory, with a backdrop of highlands and a picturesque harbour setting to the west. Suva is the largest city in the South Pacific island region excluding Australia and New Zealand. In recent years, there has been an increased amount of development in the city with a number of new, modern high rise buildings, shopping centres, cinema and apartments that make Suva's skyline one of the best in the South Pacific. It is the thriving business and government centre of the Fiji Islands, and with its shops, hotels, restaurants, nightlife and cultural centres, it is also a popular destination for traveller and tourist.
